the rake is at the average of the industry, with better offers
at micro-levels and somewhat better at the highest stakes. Pacific Poker has a
"No Flop - No Drop" rake policy, like most sites. This means that
Pacific Poker only rakes the pot when the flop is reached. A maximum of $1 is
taken out of the pots up to $1/$2 games. At limits below $1/$2 the house takes
less than $1, which gives good value for low limit players. At higher limits,
$2/$4 and above, Pacific Pokers rake structure is analogous to most other sites.

dollars for your play. For every $10 you wager, you earn one point. For every
100 points, you earn a free dollar. For lower limits, this means little.
However, for higher limit players, this is a very nice feature.

The software at Pacific Poker is
basic but functional. The games are very slow, though this may be nice for
beginners since it gives them more time to think. Online poker players can only
play in one game at a time and the short-handed tables are a plus. Note-taking
enables players to keep tabs on opponent strengths and weaknesses. the
Check/fold buttons make poker games more smooth and you can also check out hand
history statistics. You can play the no download version and hone your poker
skills in the practice play area.
